Angleton jobs from our records
Eight jobs from our 2025 and 2026 records in 77515, listed by month with no names or addresses:
• 77515, August 2026: an outdoor hose spigot broke off and the home’s water had to be shut off. We replaced the spigot and repaired the damaged supply line behind it.
• 77515, May 2026: AC stopped cooling after a power surge in the area. We replaced the air handler’s control board.
• 77515, April 2026: replaced two wax rings on a toilet as a warranty repair.
• 77515, October 2025: a three-year-old AC was humming but not cooling. We replaced the condenser fan motor, covered by the parts warranty, and the dual run capacitor.
• 77515, June 2025: replaced a 3-ton condenser, evaporator coil and copper line set and kept the furnace. We checked it again in January and September 2026; the September visit found no issues.
• 77515, June 2025: installed a new 3.5-ton vertical air handler with an electric heat kit, upsized to the 15 kW kit the house needed.
• 77515, May 2025: ran a camera through the sewer line and, based on what it showed, rerouted the line.
• 77515, January 2025: a three-year-old gas furnace in the attic had no heat and a loud noise. We replaced the inducer motor under warranty.
77515 is the only ZIP code here, and it reaches well past the city limits into Brazoria County, so every job above carries the same ZIP.
Not-cooling calls on 77515’s single-system houses
Most houses we’ve worked in here run one AC system, so when it quits there’s no second unit to lean on. June 2025 was our busiest month here in the last two years, most of it “not cooling” calls. The fixes above were parts, not whole systems: the fan motor in October 2025, the control board in May 2026. Several were still under the manufacturer’s warranty; tell us the system’s age and ask us to check coverage before we quote. See AC repair and AC maintenance.
Condensers, coils and full systems in a ZIP where the median home dates to 1981
In a house from the 1970s or 80s, today’s AC is usually the second or third system it has had. The June 2025 job above took a middle path: a new condenser, coil and line set while the furnace stayed, followed by the check-up visits we schedule after our installs. New-system estimates are free, most installs finish in one day, and we install any major brand except American Standard. See AC replacement and installation.
Heat kits, attic furnaces and the 15°F morning at the Brazoria County airport
Homes here heat with an attic gas furnace or with electric heat strips in the air handler, and our records have both: the January 2025 inducer motor and the 15 kW heat kit from June 2025. The National Weather Service recorded 15°F at the Brazoria County airport station on the morning of February 16, 2021, in a storm that cut power for days. A heater idle since March should be tested in November, not on the first cold night. See heating and furnace repair and heat pumps.
Water heaters on a well-and-river water blend
The water heater calls in our records here are the usual list for older houses: a leaking tank, a pilot that won’t stay lit, no hot water, a tankless unit with weak pressure. The City’s tap water is a blend of local well water and Brazos River water, and the City’s report doesn’t publish a hardness figure, so we don’t guess at scale; we test at the tap. See water heater repair and replacement and tankless water heaters.
Hose bibs, supply lines and gas piping, from the City meter in
Outdoor plumbing calls come in here at both ends of the calendar: a burst outside pipe in January, a main water line run over by a mower in December, and the August spigot above that shut a whole house down. We find and fix leaks we can reach, replace water lines from the meter to the house, repipe whole houses, and run and pressure-test gas lines. We don’t do slab leak repair.
The Railroad Commission of Texas lists CenterPoint Energy Entex as the gas utility for the city and the area around it. If you smell gas, leave the house and call the utility first, then us for anything from the meter in. See plumbing repair, water leak repair, repiping and gas lines.
Septic tanks and private wells past the city limits: the house is ours, the tank isn’t
A good share of 77515 lies outside the city limits, where a home may be on a septic system, a private well, or both; we don’t service either. What we handle is the plumbing from the house side of the pressure tank or the City meter inward: supply lines, fixtures, water heaters, gas piping and the drains inside the house.
Sewer lines and drains: the camera goes in first on a pre-1980 house
Kitchen-sink and main-line stoppages are among our most common plumbing calls here, and under a house built before 1980 the drain may be cast iron at the end of its life. That’s why the camera comes before the quote: the inspection is part of the free diagnostic and you keep the video. In May 2025 that inspection led to a sewer line reroute. We don’t put a hydro jetter on old cast iron or clay.
Drain clearing doesn’t carry a warranty; hydro jetting carries a 90-day warranty. See drain cleaning, sewer line repair, hydro jetting and toilet repair.
